Sail from Rotterdam to Zaandam, arriving mid-afternoon. The city is located on the banks of the Zaan River and you will have free time to explore. Be sure to visit Czaar Peterhuisje – dating back to 1697, the wooden house was visited by Tsar Peter of Russia before his visit to Amsterdam. Peter the Great also stayed here in 1697 before leaving for the V.O.C. shipyards in Amsterdam. With his brief stay, he gave name and fame to this humble woodworker's house. Enjoy a relaxing night on board as we overnight in Zaandam.
