Great location, very clean hotel and big rooms

I stayed here for two nights in October 2022. There is a lot to like about this hotel. Nice spotlessly clean rooms. A great breakfast. Good location. My stay, however, was ruined by noise on the 3rd floor. On the first night another guest and I noticed a loud knock coming from somewhere in the middle of the floor around 9:30pm. It was like a herd of elephants moving through the area and could be heard throughout the entire floor. We complained to reception and they said they would look into it. The noise stopped soon after, so I assumed it was some mechanical issue that had been fixed. On the last morning of my stay - a Sunday - I expected to have a good sleep only to be woken up by the loud noise again at 7.30am. I called reception to complain. This time the receptionist was totally unfriendly, she said it was coming from the gym treadmill and that I should wait for it to stop. I went into the gym myself to see if that was indeed the source of the noise. It was and I asked the guest to stop running. To give you a sense of how loud the noise was, my room was in the middle of the floor and the exercise room was at one end. The guest who also complained the first night was even further away from the fitness room than I was! When I checked out I complained again. The receptionist seemed to be fully aware of the problem and suggested that I should have changed rooms, but I was never offered this. should have been the

I stayed three nights and my room was not cleaned. Please stop using the pandemic as an excuse to not do your job.
